Are You The Rock Or Are You The Roll?

Those of us that have been in the annuity business for a while now, We preach “safety, security, lifetime income, no risk to the market.” However, that message was not heard these last few years. Who wants to listen to the sermon, when the choir is performing?

The market has been joyously singing these last few years! Truly music to the ear of those saving for retirement. But these days everyone’s ears are perked up. We all sit a little more straight in our seats. Even the choir is paying attention to the sermon for a change.

We wonder for a moment if THIS is it? The start of the BIG ONE? There are rumblings. There is chatter. “How’s the market treating you, buddy?” Newsflash! The “market” doesn’t know you exist. You are but a blip on the screen.

So, with all of this NOISE…who is listening?

Older folks. Those that have seen this before KNOW what it’s like to live in fear of losing what they have worked so hard to accumulate. They’ve heard the sound of the siren song before. “get in, everything is on sale…hang in there …it’s healthy …you will see everything is going to be alright.”

Their reply: “No, no, no – I can’t swim. I don’t know-how. I don’t have a lifeboat! I can’t tread water another ten years!”

We have a solution. We are steadfast in our beliefs. We can protect what we cannot afford to be lost. Throw out that lifeline again to those still in the deep water. Pick up the phone, send an email, send a letter, and shout it from the mountain!

Safety, security, lifetime income, no risk to the market!!!

It is real! It does exist! This time heed the call!!

The preacher does not keep his sermon to himself…he shares it with others!

So ask yourself, are you the ROCK…or are you the ROLL???
